The Roma Health Fund was created to close the gap in health care between Roma and non-Roma people in Europe and particularly in the Central European region. Its mission is to create equal access for the Roma population to public health care as well as to provide the Roma youth with health and sex education, with special regards to reproductive, maternal and neonatal health issues.
The main objectives are for the Roma population to get access to:
- health screening by mobile ambulance cars free of charge
- health and sex education for Roma youngsters with regards to prevention, protection, and the importance of public health care
The Roma Health Fund is gladly willing to support the EDUVITAL NET and its activities.
